Missaukee County Shooting, Michigan – Six Dead Including Suspected Shooter Chad Hickman, One Critically Injured
MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich. — A deadly series of shootings in rural Missaukee County, Michigan, on Friday, August 14, 2026, left six people dead, including the suspected shooter, and another person critically injured, according to the information provided from Michigan State Police.
Michigan State Police said troopers were dispatched at approximately 11:40 a.m. Friday to a home on South LaChance Road in Lake Township following a report of a shooting.
